This is my 14th year teaching. I was a Teaching Fellow at NCSU, student taught at WLE, and taught kindergarten at WLE for ten years. Three years ago I looped up to 1st grade with my K class, and learned that I love first grade!
I am originally from Angier, NC. My mother is a retired kindergarten teacher, whose face you'll often see around West Lake. She's subbed for several maternity leaves (two of mine) and worked as a reading intervention teacher. I am married with children. ;) My husband is Patrick, and he's a golf instructor. Reagan, our oldest, is in second grade. Our other daughter, Aubrey, will be 5 in October. Our son, Thomas, will be 3 in October.
